Bought a 2014 Phantom a few months ago from a private collection over in Dubai and the car has been absolutely sublime except for this one persistent issue where the rear AC vents would just push out warm air no matter what the front climate settings were set to, which in a car with rear seat passengers as often as mine gets just wasn't going to fly especially with summer creeping up on us, and I was absolutely dreading the whole process of booking it into the main dealer because the last time I needed a simple key fob battery programmed they wanted me to wait three weeks and the car had to be flatbedded over just for that, so I started quietly asking around in a few local WhatsApp groups and a chap who runs a detailing studio put me onto a Sharjah Rolls-Royce AC Premium Repair Service that he swore had handled the climate control on his Wraith without any fuss, and I have to say the experience was actually far less stressful than I'd built it up in my head, they had the proper BMW based diagnostic tool to read the IHKA module faults and it turned out to be a stuck rear temperature blend door actuator that just needed recalibration and a software update rather than a whole new HVAC box like the internet forums had me terrified of, the car now blows ice cold from every single vent front and rear and I didn't have to remortgage the house or take a day off work to get it done, just wanted to put this out there for anyone else who's been suffering in silence with a moody Rolls-Royce AC because sometimes it really is just a finicky actuator and not the end of the world.
