Proxies for work: data center or residential—which is better?

How's it going, everyone? I want to get some proxies for parsing and promoting profiles, but I'm confused about the different types. Can you explain the difference between data center proxies and residential proxies, and which ones are better for real-world tasks?

In short, data center servers are very fast and cheaper, but security systems are more likely to flag them. Residential servers use IP addresses from actual home internet providers; they’re the most reliable option for complex websites, though they’re more expensive. Check out this comparison here https://www.scienceline.net/proxys-datacenter-ou-residentiels-comment-choisir-selon-vos-usages-reels/ it clearly explains which ones to choose for your specific goals. What kind of websites are you planning to run?
